I'm surprised Micah let this caterpillar crawl on her. She wasn't afraid to pick them up either. She found 3 of them that afternoon.

They surprise us don't they? My youngest doesn't usually mind bugs but screamed and ran today when one landed on her! But to give her some slack, they are the first bugs we've seen in months of winter!

Brave girl!! I don't know what it is about kids and Caterpillars, my girls like them too.
We have literally hundreds of these around my house. My kids love them crawling on them. Do y'all have stinging ones yet?? We just saw our first one yesterday.
Make sure you show her the big black ones and teach her NOT to pick those up...those sting like crazy. Read that the best way to deal with those are to put a piece of tape on the sting and pull out the stingers...ouch!
