Assignment #2a

I thought I would try to catch up on some of the assignments for the Mommytography class. Here's my stab at Assignment #2a.

Taken inside - auto & custom/manual
I'm not sure if I did the manual setting correct or not.

Taken outside - auto & custom/manual
All my pictures taken inside

All my pictures taken outside

Tracy, I made the pringles expodisc
but I'm not sure if I did the manual/custom setting correctly.

I thought this picture was good, but I felt like it needed some editing.

I ♥ Faces kept mentioning something called MCP Actions, so I thought I would finally check it out. MCP Actions has some free actions that you can use in Photoshop. This is perfect for me because it does all the work and you can make changes once the action takes place to fit your liking.

So here's a couple of the free ones that I tried:

For this one I used 2 actions: High Defintion Sharpening and Burnt Edges

Take Action on Cancer Awareness Action allows you to choose different layer colors coordinating with cancer awareness ribbon colors. I chose the breast cancer ribbon (pink) in honor of my husband's mom who died of breast cancer. See now my picture has some what of a pink color to it.
I just thought one looked cool. It's called #2 pencil. She reminded me of the Gerber baby like this. So for those of you new to photo editing who have Photoshop, you might want to try some of these out as well.

Micah & Sarah

I took this picture today after the fieldtrip when we went to eat lunch at the Shelbys.
It didn't turn out that great because I forgot to turn on the flash & change some settings,
but it was still too cute.

After I fixed my camera settings, I didn't get any good ones of them.

My Micah Bunny
Mommy, why are you taking pictures of me like this?
cause you're just so cute
with your big blue eyes!

I couldn't decide between these 2 of Micah. The first one is a good eye picture though.
A lady at church gave us a bunch of Easter bonnets last night that her daughter had outgrown.

Yesterday was the first day that I failed to take pictures for the 365 project. I've never posted a picture that was taken on the same day. So yesterday I did take some pictures of the things that I'm selling on ebay. So here it is:

"He's going to be a ladykiller with those eyes."
This was told to me by a guy at Target...
which was funny because we do refer to Cameron as the ladies' man.

Edited - I atttempted to take out the snotty nose...
It's probably not the best editing, but I'm still learning
and I haven't taken Tracy's photoshop class yet. LOL!

While I was taking pictures of the horses, Levi was looking at them from the bottom of the fence.

Horses

There are some stables behind our house and sometimes the horses are out close to our ditch. Usually when I go get my camera, they move away from the ditch. Today when I walked over and took a couple of pics over the fence, this horse came to fence like he was posing for me. So I ended up getting some great shots.

She told me she was going to Bible Study...kinda dressed up for that...
but I guess that's the only place that I go by myself :)

Now she was at "Donald's" and she was giving her baby some food.
