I took this last night at 10:00 pm in our flower bed. Craig's landscape lights put just enough light on them and I was very surprised that I actually captured it without using a flash. I adjusted the curves in photoshop especially the red & green.

I took this in the van on the way home from Monroe after Craig's MawMaw's funeral. It was night and the only light I had on was the vanity mirror light and the light from my iPhone screen.

2011~365-69 *Shape Challenge - Square

Today I was just sitting at the computer and I realized I was singing the line "square cut or pear shape" from "Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend". It might have been because I was trying to think of something for the challenge. So it gave me the idea to take a picture of my engagement ring...it's a princess cut diamond (square).

I've titled this shot "Diamond in the Rough." This was taken on our playground outside where we have golf turf installed. It's actually fringe grass and not the putting grass...therefore the rough.

Last night, we were watching a movie when a telemarketer called so Luke said don't answer it. Micah decided to answer the phone...that's a good way to avoid them.

I saw all of these in bloom when we were driving to/from Monroe for the funeral. I was hoping ours was in bloom when we got home and it was. We had a huge downpour on Saturday morning so after the rain finally ended I went out to take some pictures and to capture the water droplets on the blooms.

The only shot that I took on Thursday. This was the restaurant that we ate at after the visitation for Craig's MawMaw. This was the first time that we've been to Waterfront Grille in Monroe. They wanted me to take their picture, but you can't see the bayou behind them. I was standing in the parking lot because Cole was already in the van.

This is from Paint Your Day at Upward. We just cheated and used temporary tattoos...Cincinatti Bearcats for Luke's team, and Minnesota Timberwolves for Cameron's team. Now that Upward basketball is over...what am I going to use for my 52 project? LOL!

Another one from when the Shelbys were over. The little ones got in this bike stroller and Miriam was pushing them around.

I can't keep up this week. Craig's grandmother passed away and the funeral is tomorrow. So I probably won't be able to catch up on posts, blog reading and commenting until the weekend or next week.

The Shelbys were over playing and Miriam was picking flowers off of our Japanese magnolia to put in their hair. I gave all of them a messy up-do and we stuck the flowers in for a quick photo shoot. I can't believe they were all looking and smiling.
