This or That Thursday–Hawk & Train

This morning we were on our way to a fieldtrip and I saw this bird sitting on a realtor sign on Burbank. I assume it is a type of hawk. I had my camera next to me in the front seat and the light cycle was taking a long time so I was able to change to my longer lens to zoom in more.

While we were waiting for our fieldtrip to start, a train drove by and I was able to capture it. It wasn't till I uploaded the pictures that I realized that I captured the engineer waving at us.
